Our Story:
Our names are Joe and Denise Haldeman. Our family was
unfairly persecuted by CPS / DHS system in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii in 2002 thru 2005
One day we went to pick up our children at their schools,
and we were handed a note that they were in the custody of Child Protective Services (CPS). Then we were told by the police that our 4 yr. old daughter accused my husband of molesting her. We were offered a
public defender, but we hired our own attorney. Since we knew Joe was innocent, we thought that this matter was just a big misunderstanding that could be cleared up rather quickly. “Or so we thought”!
After 3 years in 3 courts we finally proved our innocence
and were granted our children back in a Washington State Family Court due to the crooked system of CPS / DHS Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Through our trials we encountered crooked social workers,
crooked police who fabricated evidence, and crooked judges, and prosecutors. They accused my husband and myself of every deviant behavior you can imagine with no proof. Family and friends turned against us, neighbors
hated us to the point we had to move, and sell our home, which paid for our legal funds. We were jailed, search and seized, and even had our home put under surveillance. We lived under siege, and we were terrified.
My husband was tried and acquitted with 3 counts of
criminal charges regarding molestation, and child pornography. We were actually the first family in Judge Ronald Ibarra’s court to win this type of allegation ever!
Finally we relocated to Washington State and had a “new
court judge” who reviewed the case and after much court orders that we followed we finally were granted our children back!
After we were reunited with our children
the horror stories of foster abuse that they received were horrendous. Including molestation of my daughter by a Hawaii State liscensed foster father named David Kaulia, as well as physical abuse toward my son.
They were denied food, and received many forms of
neglect, not to mention years of therapy geared to brainwash them into believing that their “parents” abused them (all enforced by the state) “And we had to pay for it”!
